Mr. Moore has been an active business and community leader in the Central Louisiana region and the State of Louisiana for over 40 years.
As the Managing Partner of the Moore Planning Group (MPG), Mr. Moore has special strength in community and corporate planning and strategy development. He has worked on issues related to economic development, and the development of capital for projects and programs for the growth of communities and corporate endeavors. Mr. Moore has extensive experience facilitating and preparing comprehensive vision plans, community master plans, funding research, and implementation strategy documents in diverse corporate, community and foundation settings in the south-eastern US.
Mr. Moore’s work has focused on the fusion of science and stakeholder engagement, the integration of smart-growth principles, and the focus on high quality of life for both public and private organizations. Mr. Moore has volunteered efforts and leadership on a multitude of not-for-profit boards and committees across the southern US and the State of Louisiana.
Mr. Moore has been involved with a variety of organizations aimed towards supporting Louisiana and the region including the Council for a Better Louisiana (CABL) (Past Chair/Board Member), Foundation for the Mid-South (Past Treasurer), Louisiana State Trooper Foundation (Current Chair), Old State Capitol Foundation, Louisiana State University – Alexandria Foundation, the Central Louisiana Chamber of Commerce (Vice President), and Troop 6 Boy Scouts of America. Patrick has been a member of the Alexandria Rotary Club since January of 1983 and currently chairs the Early Childhood Education Initiative.
