Jonathon McClellan has over 17 years of experience in working with state and federal governments, political campaigns, legislative work, and advocacy.
At Woodside Energy he leads the US State Government Affairs team that supports Woodside’s North American assets, including offshore O&G assets, Louisiana LNG, Beaumont New Ammonia and new energy projects.
Prior to this, Jon worked for AT&T as the Director of External and Legislative Affairs, worked for an Austin based public affairs firm and served as the Regional Political Director for Senator Ted Cruz’s 2016 presidential campaign, State Outreach Director for Senator Cruz’s official office and as Political Director for Senator Cruz’s first run of office.
Jon has also worked with numerous Texas legislative session and for Governor Rick Perry’s gubernatorial campaign. Jon and his wife Sarah are both graduates of Baylor University and currently live in Sugar Land, Texas with their two children.
