Gregory Kallenberg

Gregory Kallenberg is Executive Director of the Prize Foundation (PrizeFest.comFilmPrizeJr.comStartupPrize.com) and the founder of the Louisiana Film, Startup, Food, and Music Prizes. As of 2024, the organization has contributed over $40M in economic development for the Shreveport/Bossier area. He also co-founded Film Prize Junior, a statewide film education and youth empowerment program for middle school and high school students. Kallenberg’s background includes event organizing, filmmaking, investment consulting, and philanthropy.

Named the 2019 Champion of Culture by the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities, he also serves on the SXSW Interactive Executive Advisory Board in Austin, the Artspace board in Shreveport, chairman emeritus of the Deaf Action Center (Shreveport, LA) and is Junior Achievement Laureate in their Business Hall of Fame. He was also named Bossier Chamber of Commerce’s 2024 Top Business Person of the Year for his commitment to the arts and the economic impact for the region created through the Prize Foundation.

Kallenberg also founded the award-winning Rational Middle Media in Shreveport, Louisiana (RationalMIddle.com). He has been a writer and story editor for the award-winning production house Bluefield Productions. He has also written for Esquire Magazine, the New York Times, and the Austin American Statesman, among other publications.
