Brian Haymon is the Founder and CEO of Loadstar.  Launched in 2021, the company is headquartered in Baton Rouge and currently has operations throughout the Gulf Coast.  Loadstar provides product handling and site logistics services to oil refineries, chemical plants, bulk storage terminals, and the inland barge industry.  The company operates customer-owned assets such as rail and truck loading racks, rail yards and locomotives, marine docks, warehouses, tank farms, and barge fleets. Loadstar employees safely load and unload refined products and chemicals to and from tank barges, trucks, railcars, storage tanks, and bulk containers of every kind.

In 2025 Loadstar became the first Certified EvergreenĀ® company in Louisiana, a recognition given to purpose-driven companies that put their people first and are committed to long-term sustainable growth.  Also in 2025, Loadstar was a finalist for the inaugural Louisiana Energy Company of the Year Award.  In 2026 Loadstar was named Company of the Year by The Greater Baton Rouge Business Report. 

Prior to founding Loadstar, Brian spent 27 years as an owner and later as CEO of Baton Rouge-based industrial contractor PSC (now PSC Group). As CEO, Brian led the company to record safety and operating performance, double-digit annual growth, and a workforce of 3000 employees assigned to more than 100 sites throughout North America.  

Brian grew up in Baton Rouge and attended public schools.  He holds a Batchelor of Arts in English and History from the University of Texas at Austin and a Juris Doctorate from LSU.  He practiced law in Louisiana and California before returning home to work in industry. 

A leader in the community, Brian serves as Chair of the LSU Honors College Advisory Council, a group he founded in 1999. He is a Founder and board member of New Schools for Baton Rouge, and a board member of Great Hearts Academy of Louisiana.  He is a current member of the Committee of 100 and Leaders for Louisiana, and serves on the board of LAMP, the political action committee of the Louisiana Chemical Association. Brian is a past chair of the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge, past vice chair of Build Baton Rouge, and served on the board of the United Way.   

An avid outdoorsman, Brian enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, and playing golf.  He is a die-hard LSU fan, a respectable Louisiana cook, and enjoys playing guitar, banjo, and singing with the Baton Rouge Symphony Chorus.  He and his wife Barbara have two grown children, Sarah and Eli.
