RESET Louisiana Policy Agenda

A Nonpartisan Agenda to Move Louisiana Forward

Started in 2019, it was developed by the Council for A Better Louisiana (CABL), the Committee of 100 for Economic Development (C100), and the Public Affairs Research Council (PAR) to raise awareness of important issues during state elections, make policy recommendations to state leaders, and implement those ideas to move Louisiana forward.

Informed by data-driven analysis such as our Louisiana Fact Book, Leaders for a Better Louisiana continues to embrace this work with the goal of making Louisiana a more prosperous and desirable state for all our citizens.

The RESET Louisiana policy guide for the 2023 state elections offers 55 recommendations to help “reset” the state for a better future. Since the founding of the RESET initiative in 2019, state leaders have addressed many of the RESET issues and continue to work on multiple parts of the agenda.
