Lyla Corkern, MA, LPC is a counselor, entrepreneur, and community leader based in West Monroe, Louisiana. She is the Founder, Owner, and CEO of Finding Solace, LLC, a private counseling agency she established in 2014 to provide inclusive mental health support to individuals, couples, families, schools, businesses, and community organizations across Northeast Louisiana. The agency focuses on creating a compassionate, judgment-free environment and has grown to a team of professionals offering both in-person and telehealth services statewide.
Corkern holds a Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy and is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with extensive experience in mental health practice. Under her leadership, Finding Solace has been recognized as a Louisiana Growth Leader by the Louisiana Economic Development Growth Network, highlighting her impact on economic and community development through business growth and service innovation.
She is active in civic and business organizations, including serving on the board of the West Monroe – West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce and participating in statewide economic and small business networks.
