LeAnn Boyd is known as a leader who is redefining pharmacy benefit management as she innovates new models for the self-insured employer market. As Founding Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Liviniti, she has provided the vision and oversight of the company’s year-over-year growth for the last decade. The unique, pass-through pricing business model offered by Liviniti leverages LeAnn’s deep understanding of the pharmacy industry gained during her 20+ years in this arena. Her expertise and appreciation around managed care pharmacy spans health plans, health systems, PBM, disease management, medication therapy management and community pharmacy provider perspectives. Prior to founding the company, which was rebranded from Southern Scripts to Liviniti in 2023, LeAnn worked in senior leadership and consultant roles at Beyond Rx, Pharm Assess, Third Party Station, and RxSolutions. She owned and operated pharmacies in the retail and long term care space providing home infusion, compounding, specialty pharmacy, and the Pills In A Pouch medication adherence packaging program. To advance her profession, LeAnn has been a board member of the Louisiana Drug Utilization Review, Louisiana Pharmacist Association and American Pharmacist Association Policy Committee, and Northwestern State University’s College of Business Advisory Board. She has been Louisiana’s representative to the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy’s Legislative Action Committee and currently serves as a member of the University of Louisiana Monroe’s Foundation Board, and the Board of Directors for City Bank and Trust Company. A summa cum laude graduate, LeAnn earned her PharmD from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and completed a primary care residency with the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She resides in Natchitoches, LA with her husband where they are active members of the community.
