Kim Cusimano joined Sasol in 2014 and currently serves as director of corporate  affairs for Sasol’s Chemicals America segment. Responsibilities include managing  Sasol’s reputation and relationships with key stakeholders within state, federal and  international governments and industry trade groups. Kim also serves as Sasol’s  chief company spokesperson with Tier One business, financial and trade media.  Before joining Sasol’s regional headquarters corporate team, Kim managed  government and public affairs for Sasol’s Louisiana operations which includes a  recently constructed $12 billion multi-asset complex–one of the largest foreign  direct investments in U.S. history.  

Kim has worked in the chemical industry for more than 14 years, joining Sasol from  government affairs and issues management firm Harris, Deville & Associates in 2014.  She supported various U.S.-based and international manufacturers over her career  in the areas of public, government, regulatory and industry affairs, internal  communications, issues management, crisis management, media relations and  corporate social investment. 

Kim is a Louisiana State University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass  Communications and a Master of Arts, with concentrations in business, public affairs  and political science. Before taking up her post with Sasol, she was also an adjunct  professor at LSU’s Manship School of Mass Communications
