Josh Descant is CEO of REV, Louisiana’s largest locally owned broadband provider, and has been with the company for 19 years serving in multiple roles. Currently, Descant serves on the President’s National Infrastructure Advisory Council (NIAC), which advises the White House on the reduction of risks to the security and resiliency of the nation’s critical infrastructure.
Additionally, he serves on the board of directors of USTelecom – a national broadband association – and is a member of The Committee of 100 for Economic Development, Inc. (C100).
Descant was born and raised in New Orleans, and now lives in Covington, La. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The University of Southern Mississippi, and is proud to have previously served in the United States Marine Corps.
