David Mullens serves as a Regional Commercial Banking Manager for Capital One Bank. He is responsible for a team of commercial bankers who meet the financial needs of large to middle market businesses headquartered in Southwest and North Louisiana.
Mr. Mullens also serves as Baton Rouge Market President, and in that capacity, he plays a critical role in connecting Capital One Bank with the community to deliver on the Company’s Investing for Good strategy. Mr. Mullens leverages Capital One’s local community platform to drive new business and to connect the Company’s resources with community needs throughout Baton Rouge.
A native of Baton Rouge, Mr. Mullens has 13 years of banking experience with Capital One Bank in both credit analysis as well as relationship management. Mr. Mullens received his bachelor’s degree in Finance from Louisiana State University and a Masters of Business Administration from Southeastern Louisiana University. He holds several professional designations including Certified Management Accountant (CMA); Certified Treasury Professional (CTP); and Credit Risk Certification (CRC). Mr. Mullens is active in the community serving on the Executive Committee as well as Board of Directors of the Baton Rouge Area Chamber of Commerce and Board of Governors of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Baton Rouge. He is a member of Baton Rouge Rotary and has also served on the Mid City Redevelopment Alliance Board of Directors as well as the Finance Committee of Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. He is also a 2015 Graduate of Leadership Baton Rouge.
