Dr. Matt Lee of the LSU Agricultural Center Selected as a Member for the Committee of 100 for Economic Development, Inc

The Committee of 100 for Economic Development, Inc. has selected Dr. Matt Lee as a member for 2023. C100 member Dr. William Tate who nominated Dr. Lee for membership stated, “Dr. Lee is an asset to the LSU family and his experience and knowledge will greatly benefit C100 members and the people of our Louisiana.”

Lee is the interim Vice President for Agriculture and Dean of the College of Agriculture at LSU. Prior to his appointment with the LSU AgCenter, Lee served in several leadership positions at LSU, including senior associate vice president for research, vice provost for academic programs, and interim executive vice president & provost.

A social scientist and community development scholar who has published widely in academic and popular press outlets, he earned both his Master’s and Doctoral degrees from LSU and is a graduate of the Institute for Management and Leadership in Education at Harvard University.
